I was psyched as fuck about this find because it was a staple tie, not something stupid--solid dark brown wool seven fold. Even on a secondary market like ebay, it probably would have gone for $120+.
I was very, very impressed when she got me another kiton tie for christmas. It was over six months later and I had only mentioned the tie one time. I had no idea how she would even remember that. |
