Much of this stuff sounds like stuff *he produced* before the advent of digital cameras. It's a lot harder, mentally, to get rid of stuff that is a snapshot into something that you experienced.
That said, if he was going to keep any of this stuff he absolutely should have digitized & encrypted it.
IDK what goes through the mind of people with really bad opsec. Perhaps there's something of a thrill in the concept that they might get caught that smothers the impetus for self-preservation. It's either that or they're dumb or lazy. |
