obviously it's not meant for spam, and i don't want to get banned from the PROFESSIONAL EMAIL HOST i intend to use to avoid false-positive spam detection.
targeting could go a long way, though. someone who can target and get results should be the one to do it. ai may also help with the efforts.
the system is just about ready except for some dns work i'm doing. emails will come from invites@autoadmit.com
this is still the beginning of the turnaround plan.
will the recipient's email be linked to their invite code? that's something u should make clear in the email -- if someone sent a code to my biglaw email, i wouldnt want my email linked to xo.
i thought this through very methodically, and no. there is no record of the email in the database, never will be a record of the email in the database. the email is processed like a conduit, never stored on disk. the link it will send is only to a temporary token stored in the database that will reveal an invite code to the recipient, which will auto-populate in the "invite code" field on the registration page.
Note: The email address that was used to send you this code WILL NOT be associated with your registration in any way. Be assured that if you register using this code, our system WILL NOT contain any record of this email address. AutoAdmit is committed to ensuring the anonymity of our poasters.
