History time: 1492, Jews are kicked out of Spain. Many become crypto Jews / pretend to be Catholics and flee to the new world. Many settled around Mexico. Still shows up in their dna. The city of Monterrey which is one of the biggest in all of northern Mexico was explicitly founded by crypto jews.
Me and Gina might be something like 10th cousins.
I doubt she is more than 5% Sephardic Jewish, but a lot of Mexicans do have that look.
Italians / Jews / Levantines all have this look.
