The rivalry has deep roots. ED was the consistently superior runner. For example, ED ran a sub-5 minute mile in high school while J never did. On top of that, ED is objectively better looking and got into HYP, whereas J only got into an inferior backup school for HYP strivers.
So when link started poasting ED's info, J sprung into action and threw a fit, demanding he stop outting "her" and take down the poasts.
