I'm not in this market so I have no idea. Obviously I'm inclined to say UofH without looking into the matter, but thought I'd see if fellow xo'ers had any thoughts |

With that experience, I'd imagine school rank matters much less. I'd just change the normal calculus by giving a preference to schools that have ties to and classes about o&g.
The real question is why wouldn't you just stay in land and not pay six figures to forgo 3 years of six figure income. You might consider an MBA/eMBA. |

But yeah, talk to actual o&g attorneys with knowledge of hiring. If you're a 5 year land bro, you should be able to find a couple. If you can't, that is a bad sign for your future prospects. You'll really want to have connections, even if not super strong. Someone throwing you a bone for a recommendation or referral is a big deal, especially at a TTT. |
