the whole country is a dumpster fire from an economic and political standpoint, and the people basically have no aspirations/drive, but they are 180 chill pares who are big on family and religion. the country itself is insanely gorgeous and everything (except things like imported products) is dirt cheap |

honestly the whole country is pretty safe for a random white guy. every store has an armed guard in front of it. i'm not convinced i would be more likely to get robbed in PH than a random amikkkan city
