This was in Rialto a few years back the landlord owns a string of properties around the area and has this 3 bed house turned into 3 flats and would have been making a huge profit on it. As far as I remember they had a dispute over some issues in the house that were not being resolved and either threatened to stop paying or stopped altogether. The landlord knowing they didn't have a leg to stand on tried to illegally evict them using his family, when the men lawfully refuse the illegal eviction the landlords group put the wheelie bins against the front door and set them on fire. The occupants opened the door and got the burning bin away from the door hence the burned rubbish all over the front of the house. Once the door was opened and they had a chance the groups pushed into the house to force out the tenants. The group then changed the locks of the house The gaurds (Irish police) were on the scean during most of this and because this was a totally illegal eviction they forced the landlord to hand over the new keys to the tenants. If anyone has ever had any experience of dublin landlords they wouldn't feel bad for these absolute thugs who regard their tenants as the dirty peasantry.
