Tubi is amazing. Has GC been defeated?

Showing ads is how we keep our thousands of movies and TV shows free for everyone! We do not offer a subscription service to watch ad-free.
Our ad breaks are short (one to two minutes long, on average) and happen approximately every 15 minutes or so. At around 4 to 8 minutes of ads every hour, we have far fewer ads than cable!

It's not wholly a defeat of GC--I mean, it's owned by Fox I believe--but it's great for what I want especially in terms of movies.
I remember back when Netflix streaming first started what was fun was you could find all these random back catalog movies on there, like obscure film noir from the 1940s or some foreign movie you'd never heard of
Eventually almost all of that left in favor of original programming or the other rights holders went off and took their balls with them
But the stuff on Tubi is great--a ton of old obscure horror and italian horror, but also mainstream stuff--like I finally watched the 1989 Batman on there, and they've had Ghostbusters etc on there
