does anyone else feel by late 30s like theyve lived their whole life basically?

Date: September 22nd, 2024 11:40 PM Author: Soul-stirring Cheese-eating Internal Respiration as i approach 40 this is basically what it feels like. the school threads on here seem so distant. the corporate jockeying after college/law school seems so unimportant to me now. ive probably 'saved' enough at this point where it doesnt really matter/money is not a huge motivation for me bc i have very modest tastes. career is basically set.
theres still lots of things i enjoy but my life now seems like its prioritize living healthy to minimize risk of things that catch up with you, think about kids futures a lot, try to minimize work time to spend more time with family. i wonder if this is how ill feel for the next 30 years. |
