"Sully, like, asked my father if he could take me on our first date," she said. "He joked about crashing his car in the Hudson, and everyone laughed so hard," she added.
The retired airline pilot was all smiles as he watched Maroney practice at a gymnastics event last week. "See that girl in the yoga pants? I'm taking her home tonight," he said with a grin.
