Age: 40 in a few weeks wtf.
Height: 6' 1".
Weight: Haven't weighed myself in over two years. I'm going to weigh myself first thing tomorrow morning before I eat or drink anything. Definitely north of 220 lbs. How far north? I'll find out tomorrow morning.
Pictures of my disgusting body as of this morning:
I've been overweight for two years, and I've failed to get to a healthy weight and stay at that weight during the entire time. My diet is pretty boring and healthy, but my appetite seems to be all fucked up from stress. I was in great shape until my mid 30s when my gut started growing slowly. At this point I'm frustrated with my inability to lose weight and keep it off, and I'm just too worried about my health now after being fat for years, so I'm starting Wegovy. I took the first pill this morning.
It takes a few months to ramp up to the maintenance dose, so I'm not sure how much it'll help in the beginning. In the meantime, I'm going to add in strength training to my exercise routine, which has just been at least an hour of cardio every single day. I'm going to reduce calories slowly. I used to have a binge eating problem, and my doctor told me to be very careful not to cut out too many calories too quickly because the binge eating could resurface.

This is the real hack. I've done it before just to see if I could, and I learned that even small amounts of food are sufficient if you make a habit of it

how do you get that fat doing an hour of cardio daily and eating "healthy"? you must be eating a ton of "off the record" shitty snacks or not eating nearly as well as you think.
Date: June 20th, 2026 11:04 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Sorry, didn't go into as much detail about my diet. My diet is based on the Mediterranean diet with lots of lean proteins, fruits, veggies, olive oil, legumes, etc. But I have a tendency to eat garbage snacks when I'm particularly stressed. I also used to wake up in the middle of the night feeling starved and would binge eat anywhere from 300 to 800+ calories. So despite being this fat, my blood work came back surprisingly good because the "core" of my diet is still a lot of healthy stuff.
Homo's have been apex predators for like 2 million years. We are evolutionarily adapted to eating large herbivores, specifically Bovids. Sapiens ate more antelope, gazelles, and wildebeest than anything else. That's why people can eat nothing but beef and thrive. Everything else should be avoided unless you're starving.

pray tell, how do you get all the necessary micronutrients without vegetables? supplements and multivitamins can get you partway there but it's not as bioavailable, way better to get them from your food
people throw around these buzzwords like "micronutrients" or "phytonutrients" without ever really being able to articulate which ones have what affect.
Date: June 23rd, 2026 11:46 AM Author: ruby passionate legend
the idea that I need to know every single micronutrient and its effects offhand in order to know that they're important is probably the dumbest thing I've seen on xo this week.
fortunately I do have this information readily accessible in Dr. Ballantyne's excellent book, the Nutrivore Quickstart Guide.
I've screenshotted the essential vitamins, vitamin-like compounds, and minerals and their effects: https://imgur.com/a/K48Jaa4
there are other categories covered that can be considered "micronutrients" but they're not listed as short blurbs like this and I'm not gonna screenshot dozens of pages. however, if there's interest, I can host the entire PDF somewhere and poast it.

The fuck are you talking about? Of course you can get fat eating beef and potatoes. Weight gain is literally caused by eating more calories than your body needs to maintain itself.
Date: June 20th, 2026 11:20 AM Author: ruby passionate legend
honestly that's 100x better than the opposite imo, being leaner but having bad labs bc you eat like shit. but yeah, it's obviously best that you're working toward being unfat too.
Date: June 20th, 2026 11:57 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Yeah, at least the good blood work is somewhat reassuring. Lots of chicken breast, avocados, bananas, Greek yogurt, olive oil, bunch of green shit, different types of beans, etc. make up probably around 80% of what I eat. It's that 20% of trash that keeps me fat.
Date: June 20th, 2026 12:05 PM Author: ruby passionate legend
all sounds great, just keep in mind that variety is super important so you get all the diff vitamins and minerals your body needs to function at its best. if you're deciding between meals, go for the one that repeats fewer ingredients from what you've eaten in the prior few days. looking at metabolic health separately from size/weight: eating whole is the #1 thing, and variety within that whole diet is #2 imho. but I'm just a poaster.
Date: June 20th, 2026 12:08 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Thanks, and great point. The healthy stuff I eat is pretty boring because there's little variety. I need to change things up more often. The bland and dull taste of this healthy food might make me crave junk, idk.
Date: June 20th, 2026 12:17 PM Author: ruby passionate legend
yeah and I mean you also have it working against you that UPFs are designed to be hyperpalatable, addictive, suppress satiety signals, and so on. personally I don't crave junk but when someone else brings it in the house it's hard to resist, or to just have one... because they make it that way.
how's your blood pressure? if it's good, you don't really need to worry about sodium so just add more salt to everything you make lol. oh and sauces! just a little bit of something acidic like tabasco (or squeezing a lemon) should help too. and then yeah switching it up more from day to day should definitely help with the boredom too.
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:40 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I don't ever check my blood pressure with a cuff, but my Apple Watch has that high blood pressure detector thing. It's never warned me of high blood pressure.
And I don't consume that much sodium because the staples of my diet are unprocessed/low sodium foods. It's just the snacks and junk from one meal that usually are salty, fatty, sugary, etc.
Date: June 20th, 2026 12:01 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Dude, it's easy as fuck to get a prescription for one of these. I got an online appointment yesterday through my pharmacy chain with only like 15 minutes of waiting, and the prescription was ready at the pharmacy one hour after the short appointment. You don't even need to see a doctor in person to get a prescription. You can even have the prescription delivered. If you're fatter than me and can't lose the weight, then you should definitely get on one of these drugs.
Date: June 20th, 2026 12:16 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Does it look like a "beer gut" or something? I don't drink at all. It really is a combination of stress, stress eating, binge eating, garbage food, fucked up appetite, overeating, etc.
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:14 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Well I gained this much weight over only a few years, and I ate virtually no fatty meat during that time. Most of the meat I ate/still eat is either chicken breast or turkey breast.
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:20 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Why do you think I'm lying? I've just eaten more calories than I've burned for a few years, which made me fat. That's all it takes. I do eat some junk/trash food, but I don't like "fatty meats."
Date: June 20th, 2026 12:58 PM Author: ruby passionate legend
cr, stress is a huge factor when it comes to weight distribution. higher stress => cortisol spikes => fat is stored viscerally rather than subcutaneously
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:15 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Yeah, my guess is stress has been the biggest factor in my case. Job and life became much more stressful over the last several years years, which fucked up my appetite, energy levels, cravings, etc.
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:26 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
My appetite is fucked up -- I don't feel full after the main meals of the day, and most of the time I can't tell whether I've eaten too much, enough, not enough, etc. Throw some snacks into that disaster and you develop a gut like mine.
We support you, friend. But don't think of these drugs as a cure. They're the right thing for you right now so that you shed that gut, but you need to address the underlying causes of your stress, adjust exercise if needed, keep junk food out of the house, get good sleep, adopt healthy habits, etc. so that you can eventually come off of these drugs without becoming fat again.
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:46 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Yeah, that's the long-term challenge that I haven't sorted out. My main priority at the moment is to lose this huge gut because I've been fat for too long, and it's making me worry about my health.
Date: June 20th, 2026 1:49 PM Author: lime razzle range gaming laptop
that will never happen. No one has ever taken a shortcut and then been like, "you know what, i'll make long term changes now." It never has happened in the history of human life.

Wanted to weigh myself this morning, but the batteries in my electric scale are dead. Going to weigh myself tomorrow morning now after I get new batteries.
Today is day 2 of taking this pill. Not sure if the pill is already working or if it's some other cause, but I didn't feel as hungry as I normally do this morning for breakfast, so I ate less than usual.
Date: June 22nd, 2026 7:51 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Weighed my fat ass this morning. 262 lbs. I believe this puts me in the "obese" category. Great. Maybe I shouldn't have weighed myself. Fuck. Why am I such a fat fuck?
Date: June 22nd, 2026 8:15 AM Author: shivering pearly giraffe piazza
What's your target weight? Under 200 lbs? I would suggest breaking up the weight loss into manageable targets: aim to get down to 250 lbs first, then 240 lbs, etc. You'll feel better with every 10 lbs you lose. You can do this, brother. The Wegovy will make it easier.
Date: June 22nd, 2026 8:38 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
My lean/healthy weight is around 185 lbs, which is when I have very defined abs. But now I'm a fat disgusting fuck. I'll have to lose 85 lbs to get back to that lean weight. Fuck.
Date: June 22nd, 2026 8:53 AM Author: shivering pearly giraffe piazza
Just focus on getting to 250 lbs right now, don't think too much about the target weight. I'm guessing you feel like shit at your current weight. You'll feel better by losing just the first 10 lbs. That'll likely motivate you to lose more. And I've never taken any of these weight loss drugs, but I assume this shouldn't be too difficult now that you're taking one.
Date: June 22nd, 2026 3:53 PM Author: ruby passionate legend
lol it was obvious from the OP that "north of 220" was an understatement. technically per BMI you were obese at 228. but BMI is stupid, don't worry about that; as others have said, just focus on making progress. you'll feel better every step of the way.
Date: June 23rd, 2026 10:14 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
"North of 220 lbs" came from my heaviest-ever scale reading being 220 lbs and me knowing that I'm fatter now than I was at 220. I didn't realize it was this bad.
Date: June 23rd, 2026 10:17 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Update: Yesterday I weighed an even 262.0 lbs, but that was right before my morning shit. Today I weighed myself after shitting, and it came in at 260.9 lbs.
After seeing 262 lbs on the scale yesterday I freaked out and immediately started reducing portions for all my meals and also cut out a few things. My guess is I cut out around 500 calories.
Date: June 23rd, 2026 6:07 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I went like 2+ years without weighing myself due to fear, but now that I know the number, it helps explain a lot: why long walks are exhausting, why everything hurts when I try to bike, why weight training is exhausting, why I get tired so easily -- it's that 80 lbs of unhealthy weight dragging me down. Kind of like carrying 40 lb dumbbells with me all day.
Date: June 24th, 2026 4:55 AM Author: Provocative School Cafeteria Nibblets
Nutrition is overblown and gay. There are literally like 3 macronutrients--fats, proteins, and carbs. Everything is just swapping ratios. Obviously bad to have way too much saturated fat, but what are you going to do, cut fat off every piece of meat? A lot of meat has marbled fat already in it. Obviously not drinking liquid sugar drinks is important too, but who the hell really drinks a ton of soda and eats cake these days anyway? Most important thing is just not eating too much food. Especially if we are talking regarding actual weight gain. LOL at believing in a "nutrition magic" variable above thermodynamics. If metabolizable energy intake is not high enough to exceed overall energy expenditure over time then you don't gain weight.
Date: June 24th, 2026 9:34 AM Author: motley degenerate
This is misguided IMO. The idea of reducing nutrition to macro and calories misses a massive part of the picture (both weight and general health). It's obviously the case that weight loss is driven by the laws of thermodynamics and caloric deficit but this misses the effects on satiety of certain types of food, as well as the critical role of fibre in the health of gut flora.
Date: June 24th, 2026 11:06 AM Author: Provocative School Cafeteria Nibblets
I don’t think we actually disagree much. My point wasn’t that nutrition quality is irrelevant. It was that people often treat nutrition as if there’s some mysterious variable that can override energy balance when it comes to body weight. I just think nutritionmos often miss the forest for the trees. And I agree that for non-body weight matters it obviously matters, but again I think people are underestimating the extent to which they are just swapping out ingredients that each have different benefits/payoffs.
Date: June 24th, 2026 1:18 PM Author: ruby passionate legend
yes all "ingredients" have different benefits, which is why it's important to have a whole, VARIED diet in order to get all the nutrients your body needs to function at its best. a huge percentage of Americans, whether fat or thin, are undernourished because they eat SPS diets of UPFs with almost no nutritional value. body size isn't the only thing that matters.
Date: June 24th, 2026 1:15 PM Author: ruby passionate legend
? if this is directed toward me, I never said weight loss isn't just calories in, calories out. it obviously is. I was talking about nutrition because people were discussing the merits of various diets. weight isn't the ONLY thing that matters. nutrition also matters.
Date: June 24th, 2026 10:22 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Not sure if it's the Wegovy since I've been taking it for less than a week, but I now crave food much less than I did before. Maybe seeing 262 lbs on the scale just freaked me out and set me straight. My conservative guess is that I've cut out around 600 calories per day, and this change hasn't left me feeling hungry.
Date: June 24th, 2026 10:40 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
I'm unemployed, and I have trash insurance that doesn't cover weight loss drugs. So I went with the cheapest option, which is the Wegovy pill. I don't know enough about the alternatives to speak about the pros and cons other than cost.
I eat virtually the same food every day, and a long time ago I did calculate how many calories I was consuming per day. I don't remember the exact number, but I don't actively track calories because, again, I eat virtually the same food every day. I know that what I was eating a week ago was making me fat, so I'm just eating smaller portions of every single meal and/or cutting out specific foods entirely. It seems like a hassle to track every meal, anyway, since I eat six times a day. I'd rather just measure two things once a week: my weight and my waist size, and then adjust my diet accordingly.
Date: June 24th, 2026 11:27 AM Author: shivering pearly giraffe piazza
Breh, go through the exercise of calculating calories consumed and calories burned once just to get a sense of what needs work. If your diet made you gain all this weight, you might have to cut out more than 600 calories to start losing weight. Too much guesswork involved in eyeballing it.
Date: June 24th, 2026 11:55 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Okay I had ChatGPT estimate the calories and macronutrients. I didn't list brands for some foods, so it has some uncertainty.
Total calories: 2,900 - 3,350
Protein: ~205 g
Carbs: ~320 g
Fat: ~110 g
According to my Apple Watch, I burn about 1,150 calories per day though my daily cardio and lots of walking. Not sure how reliable/accurate that is.
Basal metabolic rate is around 2,200 calories per day.
If these numbers are indeed accurate-enough, I might have a slight calorie deficit. But it looks like there's room to cut a little more, so I'll adjust.
I'm not sure how this Wegovy shit works, but if it's really suppressing your appetite, you have room to cut out up to about 600 more calories at the very maximum (20% calorie deficit). Anything more aggressive than 20% will make you lose healthy weight like muscle.
Date: June 24th, 2026 11:09 AM Author: Provocative School Cafeteria Nibblets
Nah it looks like pseudo-gyno. You can fix that with weight loss or extreme androgens. If there is any glandular tissue I agree though, but it doesn’t seem like there obviously is any.
Date: June 24th, 2026 11:59 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
I haven't considered this. I just examined my mantits, and they just feel like blubbery fat. There's no "firm" tissue or anything other than the pec muscle underneath all the fat.
Date: June 29th, 2026 7:40 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
180 I'm losing weight. First official weigh in (early morning, no breakfast, after my morning shit) was 260.9 lbs. This morning under the same conditions I weighed in at 256.8 lbs -- a drop of 4.1 lbs in one week. I still look like a fat fuck obviously, but I've noticed that my shirts feel slightly less tight at the waist.
Going to keep my diet as-is for the time being. I think my Apple Watch is underestimating how many calories I burn through exercise and walking.
Date: July 11th, 2026 1:13 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Update: Exactly three weeks of taking Wegovy today. It seems to be doing something even though I'm still on the very low starter dose: I eat smaller portions for nearly all of my meals, cut out snacks completely except for half a cookie a day, and I don't feel like I'm starving or powering through hunger. Still weighing myself only once a week, so I'm not sure where I'm at right now, but I will weigh myself Monday morning. But I'm pretty sure I've lost more weight because I'm more active throughout the day and don't get tired as easily. And while I still have that disgusting gut, shirts feel noticeably less tight at the waist, and my gut no longer sticks out at the bottom of t-shirts.
Date: July 26th, 2026 11:51 AM Author: mentally impaired newt
Update: I am NOT a candidate for Wegovy or other similar meds. The first increase in dosage has made me vomit every day for the last five days along with intense nausea most of the time. At least I'm probably losing weight from puking every day, but the Wegovy experiment is likely over. Back to being a fatass I guess.
Date: July 26th, 2026 12:00 PM Author: Outnumbered stage
Why did you increase your dosage if you were losing weight?
The whole point of GLP-1 is to silence the Hunger Noise so that you don't eat over your caloric limit. At 260, it's not that difficult to limit your intake to 2500 calories a week and just watch the fat burn off every week.
Put on your big boy pants and get back to losing that fat!
Date: July 26th, 2026 12:08 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
The first dose bump is still a small dose. Even if I stayed on the initial dose I'd probably start feeling like shit from that dose building up over time. And the first dose is supposed to just get you adjusted to the Wegovy without doing much for weight loss. The weight I did lose seemed to be from my panicked reaction to weighing myself for the first time in over two years and seeing a number north of 260 lbs.
Date: July 26th, 2026 12:11 PM Author: indigo dopamine
Hey dumbass if you're still losing weight you can keep the dose the same indefinitely. It's not a contest to see who can tolerate the most, I've stuck with 3mg of reta a week for almost 4 months now and have no urge to increase further. Sides are manageable and steadily decreased over time.
Date: July 28th, 2026 6:12 PM Author: indigo dopamine
This is not correct actually, the elimination half life of GLP1s means that it takes about 4 weeks of increased dosing to stabilize the average amount of the drug in your bloodstream. For easy math let's say you're dosing 1 mg and the half life is 7 days - this rounds to correct.
Week 1 - you start with 0, inject 1 mg on day 0, and have 0.5 mg left in your bloodstream on day 7.
Week 2 - you start with 0.5 mg, inject 1 mg on day 7, and have 0.75 mg left on day 14
Week 3 - you start with 0.75 mg, inject 1 mg on day 14, and have 0.875 mg left on day 21
Week 4 - you start with 0.875 mg, inject 1 mg on day 21, and end up with 0.93 mg in your blood on day 28. From here on out, you're eliminating about the same amount of the drug as you're putting in and will stabilize at ~1mg of drug until the dosage is changed.
Date: July 26th, 2026 12:09 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Doctor said I'd likely have the same reaction to other GLP-1s if I reacted this badly to a low dose of Wegovy. Not a candidate. Not risking another bout of vomiting by switching to a different GLP-1.
Breh get a prescription for Vyvanse or Adderall instead. It'll make you feel good and make you lose weight. Fuck these fat shots that are meant for fats eating diets full of highly-processed foods but in smaller portions so that they lose weight. Vyvanse or Adderall will make you burn more calories and suppress your appetite.
Date: July 26th, 2026 12:27 PM Author: diverse blood rage
Disco Fries-level excuses going on here. Maybe one day you'll be as fat as he is.
It wasn't the ozempic making you vomit, it was your over-eating in combination with the ozempic telling your body that "this fatass is full" that made you vomit. You can't eat like you used to. And as others have said, don't increase the dosage so fast. There is a build up over several weeks due to the long half-life of these drugs. It takes a few weeks for a given dose to peak out. Until then it's still increasing in your system every week. There are online calculators for this.
Date: July 27th, 2026 2:59 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I'm still vomiting every night. I took my first shit in over two days today. My diet is almost entirely liquid now; the most solid thing I can handle in one sitting is half of a banana, otherwise it's another bout of nausea. Pedialyte after vomiting, Ensure throughout the day. No food ~5 hours before bed. Feels like the worst is over, though. Barely any puke last night even though I did throw up. The nausea was initially totally incapacitating, but now it's just extremely uncomfortable.
Date: July 27th, 2026 3:07 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
Yup, if there's anything positive about this, it's that I'm losing weight because I'm definitely eating at a calorie deficit. Small liquid-only meals throughout the day + bouts of nausea means I'm not eating enough.
The Wegovy worked fine at the beginning: it suppressed my appetite and made me eat less. But this latest bump in dosage seems to have paralyzed my stomach, and all that can get through is liquids. All I need is the appetite suppression; the delayed digestion is what's fucking me over, as far as I can tell.
Breh get off this literal poison and get Vyvanse or Adderall. Both will help you lose weight without incapacitating stomach paralysis or whatever the fuck this poison shot is doing to you.
Date: July 29th, 2026 3:14 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I'm approaching 48 hours since last vomiting. Still nauseous, bedridden, and exhausted most of the time. Doctor gave me an anti-nausea drug that barely helps. I can only eat extremely tiny amounts of food at a time (no more than 100-150 calories). I'm eating mostly liquids and drinking Pedialyte. Even then, I almost always get more nauseous after eating.
I can't wait for this stupid vomit shot to get out of my body. Why wasn't I warned about this? I'm done with this fucking "miracle drug" for weight loss that ruined the last 7 days for me and caused unbearable nausea for endless hours every day. Fuck this shit. I'm sure I've lost weight from all the vomiting and reduced eating, but this is the worst fucking way imaginable to shed a few pounds. Holy shit. Fuck this GLP-1 bullshit.
Date: July 29th, 2026 3:35 PM Author: pale adventurous halford
lower the dose to lowest effective dose
ur doctor is obvioulsy a fucking retard drug dealer pushing the way toohigh pharma guidleine dosage for $$$, you sound liek youre heading for gastroparesis or a Small Bowel Obstruction
a ton of them are happening all over country from overdosing GLP-1s or titrating up too quick - bunch of people are dying from surgical complications and im sure its being covered up
lower the dose and split it to twice a week injection, get off teh gay autoinjector kike $cam one
or just swtich to Tirzzz its much better and just cruise at 2.5
Date: July 29th, 2026 3:49 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I'm also learning that my doctor (didn't know him before starting Wegovy) is clueless about this shit. Didn't warn me about a single digestive side effect, although I should've looked that up myself before I began. But if you do look up the actual frequency GI side effects, the number is ridiculous -- 75% of people report GI side effects. Half report nausea. One third report vomiting. How is this shit even FDA approved given how common these GI side effects are?
I'm doing my best to get around this temporary gastroparesis by eating primarily liquids and not too much fiber. Food is still getting through and I'm still taking shits, so I don't think there's a risk of bowel issues as long as I stick to my mostly-liquid diet for the short-term.
Date: July 29th, 2026 3:53 PM Author: pale adventurous halford
you need to add pyslium husk to every meal and dont drink fluids with meals 45 min before or after bc the stomach emptying is slowing down so youre gonna get a bunch of undigested shit matter rotting in your gut if you dilute the stomach acid
pound water with electrlytes and salt an hour after every meal and to flush out the fiber, youre 100% dehydrated and low choride if youve been puking and on glp-1
im gonna bet we see a HUGE increase in bowel cancers from the GLP-1s in a few yrs from the food and toxins staying in GI tract longer from it
Date: July 29th, 2026 4:04 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I'm on my eighth bottle of Pedialyte to prevent dehydration, and it has chloride. Piss is either clear or light yellow, so I think I'm fine there. Yesterday I bought some Ensure, which has some fiber in it. The internet is telling me to avoid fiber, but maybe I do need some. Idk. I need to ask ChatGPT.
If GLP-1s were simply an appetite suppressant, I think I'd have no issue with taking them. But the way they fuck with fundamental functions of your GI tract just doesn't seem healthy unless you're morbidly obese and need this shit to lose weight.
Date: July 29th, 2026 8:50 PM Author: Fishy Offensive Masturbator
re your last paragraph, doctors sure seem to be pushing them hard, and all the published studies sure seem to say that people talking glp-1s are way healthier by every metric vs control group
Date: July 29th, 2026 4:32 PM Author: mentally impaired newt
I ate almost no food after the first two times I threw up, and I felt completely depleted physically. I need to eat anyway to counter the effects of the Wegovy so that it doesn't fuck up my GI tract. But I've been on a significant caloric deficit since the vomiting started and have probably lost a few pounds.
LJL if this guy's experience is even slightly common. These fat shots sound like pure POISON. OP, please tell me you'll get a prescription for Vyvanse or Adderall instead to lose the weight. They'll make you feel good while you lose weight instead of making you puke every day for a week Ljl.

I've seen your posts. I've been too bedridden and nauseous to look into this seriously until basically this afternoon. Seems like Vyvanse is approved for binge eating, which I've struggled with. I've taken Adderall a few times long ago and remember it suppressed my appetite. My guess is I'd need to find a sleazy doctor who prescribes this stuff liberally.

stimulant appetite suppression does not last forever and then leaves you addicted to stimulants. you also take benzos to cope with taking stimulants which turn your brain into swiss cheese.
I would 1,000% take a stimulant addiction over OP's experience with the fat shot. Yeah the appetite suppression doesn't last forever, but combine it with some lifestyle changes and you're guaranteed to lose weight. Also, prescription stim addictions aren't that bad.
I do not take benzos to cope with stimming. There have been long periods where I've stimmed without any benzos. My situation is slightly ~complicated~.

he just has a retarded doctor who is reading off a script or something. there's no reason to up the dosage if you were already losing weight and seeing results on the lowest dose

Update on the vomit party: I threw up twice yesterday and had debilitating nausea for virtually the entire day. Bedridden and unable to function for yet another day. This morning has been better. I held down breakfast perfectly fine for the first time since this started, so maybe the worst is over? Too soon to say.

I was still vomiting all day yesterday, couldn't hold down anything I ate. Today is better. I can eat. No nausea. Still drinking Pedialyte primarily. Some days are good, some days I vomit everything I try to eat. Seems to be getting better slowly.
I weighed myself this morning. I've lost around 12 pounds in 15 days, although I assume some of that weight loss is due to dehydration from all the vomiting.
I seem to be the absolute worst candidate for these GLP-1s. Vomiting nearly daily combined with debilitating, incapacitating nausea for over 10 days now, and it's still too soon to say it's over. Holy shit.

Went to the ER yesterday to rule out anything more serious. They ran labs and everything looks fine, so they gave me an IV antiemetic and a prescription for a powerful antiemetic.
