She's a private equity associate at the Carlyle Group, has great taste in fashion, and is going to Harvard Business this fall. Plus, she's quite attractive.

She's an attractive woman who works at one of the most prestigious firms out there, makes good money, and will be attending the best b-school in the country. But I don't expect TTT people like you to comprehend that.
PSA: If those big-tittied skanks Heide Iravani and Brittan Heller hadn't tried to cow us with Reputation Defender; if they hadn't tried to cow us via the Washington Post; if they hadn't tried to cow us via ABC News...then the googlebomb would have never existed.

She's somewhat attractive (she has bug-eyed classes to cover most of her face and difficult to tell for sure - she may very well be a hideous troll), she probably does make good money (but so do a lot of unprestigious people), and you have somewhat of a point regarding the b-school.
Her persona ("OMG I love consumption! Look at my purse, it's so cool and I don't even know how many shoes I have!") reveals a type of striving mentality that is particularly reprehensible. Nothing wrong about improving your lot in life - there is something wrong with trying too hard at it. But I don't expect TTT people like you comprehend that. HTH

Of course, merely going to b-school is not prestigious. Attending HBS is. They only accept around 10% of applicants and have a 90% yield. The only b-school that rivals it is Stanford.
Trex, describe your girlfriend. How prestigious is she?
I agree, HBS is one of the most impressive credentials someone could present to me. I consider Wharton, Stern and Columbia up there as well, but perhaps that's because I'm from NY and have met numerous grads from these programs that really deserved my respect and emulation.
My girlfriend dresses extraordinarily well and yet not so dramatically as that girl.
Well then, next time you shoot a round with a guy worth $250 million dollars and he tells you he went to HBS, I hope you're not as impressed as I was, because that would be pretty TTT of you.

I don't care whether or not you believe me but someone's income or networth really doesn't impress me. Also I laughed at your HBS comment because I don't find business to be particularly impressive. I'd be impressed by someone who won the Noble Prize or something similar.
I will get flamed for saying this, but I could maybe understand paying for Hermes, since they use the best leathers (truly world-class and rare, many times more expensive than what LV uses since the volume of LV is much higher), everything is handsewn (very expensive French labor), the styling is classic and the bags can last for 20+ years easily.
As a guy, I only know about bags from girlfriends and listening to them chatter about their new $2500 Fendi or this and that, but I think that there is definitely a subset of rare bags within even the major brands, with different styles and leathers that really are worth the money.

It's not a matter of whether or not it is worth it. (In this case, with her bag it's not even worth it.) Anyone with a decent job could afford designer bags if that is what they wanted (you don't have to be incredibly wealthy to afford them), it's just a matter of what you prioritize...I don't want to be a part of that "I carry the best bags and I am so cool" world
true dat. she should get the bags under her eyes taken care of though. other than that she looks really attractive, classy, and intelligent (obviously).
she would probably think that bloomingdales is too ttt and that she needs your cash for a charge account at bergdorfs - the bills going to YOU at the end of the month.

Not to mention that her sunglasses are too flashy. I like Oliver Peoples sunglasses which are around the same price as D&G (and much better quality) but don't give off the "OMG I am so cool I wear D&G" vibe. This is why I hate monogrammed LV, D&G/Chanel sunglasses etc. I don't want people to think of me as a fake, pretentious person
Date: May 22nd, 2007 12:47 PM Author: Mewling puce menage
Who thinks that? Only people on XOXO who spend their existence hoping to be wealthy think that designer labels = being fashionable. People who are actually wealthy realize that while not having to worry about finances is nice, it really doesn't make you feel better about yourself

No, I just almost never use the term "desi." I always say "Indian." It's know it's all the same but when I think of myself, I think "Indian" because I never heard my parents use the term "desi." I only knew what that meant from watching movies etc
Date: May 22nd, 2007 4:34 PM Author: Odious greedy hall ape
yeah, i have heard of the movie american desi. it's INDO-AMERICAN. your parents did not sit around on their own watching english speaking indo-american movies like american desi or mississippi masala (denzel washington).

what are we up to so far?
normally i'd think something like this would somehow lead to sex so its all worth it, but im not really interested in sex with a 45 year old dood sitting in his basement wearing a wifebeater.
she voluntarily subjected herself to public scrutiny. she bragged to a major magazine about her prestigious job and her conspicuous consumption. using her real name.
Date: May 22nd, 2007 12:57 PM Author: Mentally impaired center masturbator
You mean keep Natasha Mitra, Private Equity Associate's real name off the thread? So that Natasha Mirta doesn't have her name plastered all over? Why would Natash Mitra care about comment she made voluntarily to a major magazine?
Maybe the worry is that Natasha Mitra, Carlyle Private Equity Associate and Harvard Business School student, might quickly be recognized as Natasha Mirta, vapid label-worshipping whore, or something.
But, like you say, she *advertised* herself as such in a national magazine.

LOL, ok never mind i just googled and now I know what you are talking about. I've never seen the word spelled out in English and so I was confused. I was thinking to myself what is "wada" b/c it's actually pronounced "wuhdah"
Date: May 22nd, 2007 4:00 PM Author: Mewling puce menage
I heard my parents mention the word but I never knew how it was spelled and so I didn't know what you were talking about when you said "wada" because it's actually pronounced "wudah" not "wada." BTW I think you are a flame. doodette.
Date: May 22nd, 2007 4:21 PM Author: Odious greedy hall ape
wtf is a wudah?
if you were south indian you'd know exactly what i was talking about when i said 'wada' without being so confused. you're confused even with the benefit of google.
Date: May 22nd, 2007 4:33 PM Author: Mewling puce menage
"Wudah" is the way it is pronounced according to the way my parents say it. I've only heard my parents say it but have never seen the word actually written out, so I had no idea what you were talking about when you said "wada" (which is why I googled.)
Date: May 22nd, 2007 5:00 PM Author: Odious greedy hall ape
[Well it's actually been a while since I've went to temple LOL...I'm not gonna lie. I remember they served "prasadam" (spelling?) but I never seen the word "wadas"]
that might be because it was a flame trap and wada (more accurately, "vada") isnt served in fucking temples. it's basically restaurant food.
Date: May 22nd, 2007 5:11 PM Author: Mewling puce menage
Yeah I've been to Indian restaurants but I usually order garlic naan with paneer (because my mom can't make naan) or samosas for appetizers. I don't remember seeing "wada" on any menu.
You're an awkward desi, so obviously you think anyone who is not like you is a fake. I am 100% Indian and non-awkward. HTH
Date: May 22nd, 2007 5:16 PM Author: Odious greedy hall ape
You wouldn't see vada at a restaurant where you can order "naan with paneer" because you only get vada at south indian restaurants. naan and paneer are north indian dishes.
I predict you will continue having trouble finding "wada" on menus as long as you keep going to north indian restaurants. But of course you already knew that. lulz
EDIT: hey since you can read and understand the language, what does the word in the first few seconds of the video say? and what are some of the lyrics to this song?
Date: May 22nd, 2007 5:31 PM Author: Mewling puce menage
OMG, LOL. Those tight red leather pants are kind of hawt though, don't you think?
I am assuming that is Telugu? I've visited Andra Pradesh so I kind of know what the language sounds like but I'm not sure. Telugu is not my family's language but my parents can understand it since South Indian languages are all similar. I'll send it to them and ask them what it means, LOL. Also I think you misunderstood one of my posts above. I can't read any Indian language and I don't speak it that well.

okay mang....keep thinking that. bitch is the female equivalent of a homothug. homothug=super masculine faggot
female equivalent=super feminine dike. see paris hilton and lindsey lohan. i'm sure she fucks dudes, as homothugs fuck girls.....but not prestigious...and not to be chased after. and not great in the sack (see paris hilton).
Date: May 23rd, 2007 4:58 AM Author: free-loading garrison
titcr. her homoerotic encounters are more tame and reserved and don't require any type of real "jostling" which would upset her delicate sensibilities. I think you hit the nail on this one.
Date: May 23rd, 2007 5:15 AM Author: free-loading garrison
Her skills in bed are most likely terrible. The only benefit you would get from fucking her would be whatever prestige one gets from fucking a striver who wishes she was a jap.
Date: May 23rd, 2007 5:23 AM Author: appetizing personal credit line indian lodge
She's pretty but not gorgeous. The most she has going for her is being skinny, but it looks like she's borderline anorexic which is of course not good. You can tell her nose is fucked up and her smile might be weird, indicating an ugly face, but she has those god awful glasses covering up half her face so you can't tell. Small tits and probably a dumpy ass. A fashionista like her probably shaves, but she IS Indian so it's a toss-up.
She'll continue being a materialistic whore until she wakes up on her 32nd birthday and realizes that she's getting old and her fallopian tubes are shriveling up. She'll date some equally pathetic man for about 6 months and pressure him into a lavish yet loveless marriage. Her daughter will lose her virginity at the age of 14 to a man named Gunther in downtown Dusseldorf, and her son will either become a D&D nerd or a fat sociopath arsonist.

Natasha Mitra and the culture of excess know no bounds. Go on, spend and consume, strive for material success and indulge, but always remember this: your shallow actions and ways of being will never add true siginificance to your otherwise empty life.
Date: May 23rd, 2007 6:06 AM Author: free-loading garrison
titcr, being a striver in NYC and doing quite well at being a striver are nothing compared to being kingpin of your bumblefuck town, and having crushed the your pathetic enemies and emerged at the top of the local protection racket.

One day someone is going to claim a girl is "prestigious" and it'll actually be a normal looking attractive and classy girl of anglo saxon heritage. One day.
Date: May 24th, 2007 10:09 AM Author: Sinister Heaven Patrolman
She isn't bad looking.
However, she is a materialistic, self-important striver bitch. I couldn't care less where she went to school or where she works; in fact, her "credentials" make her less attractive. She seems like the intense and competitive type who always has to be the best at whatever she does, which manifests itself in extreme materialism.
She probably doesn't know how to be soft, gentle or nuturing, either, so she would definitely not be good girlfriend or wife material.
Actually, that's a picture of me, spoofing her. I wrote the post you stole that from on Sepia Mutiny. But you're an ass who can't fucking read so why should I expect you to respect copyrighted material?
There seems to be confusion about what Natasha Mitra looks like; to cloud this important-to-misogynists issue further, a few of you decided to use MY picture to help you decide if Miss Mitra was ugly or worthy of getting a facial from you, etc. It's okay-- I know, all curry-scented cow-worshippers must look alike to you, especially when we wear oversized sunglasses.
Some of you went to my blog and came back complaining of a lack of pictures which would prove that I am not the girl with the fugly $$$ purse; I have updated accordingly.
To those of you who patiently attempted to point out the obvious case of mistaken identity, thank you. To those of you who decided to rip me to shreds even though I didn't brag about blowing thousands on my purse to NY mag: vaya con dios and brush up on those reading comp skills-- I was pretty clear about who was in which picture, but beinig accurate isn't as fun as being a dick, right?
