You flip levers and monitor results and take pH tests using public opinion polls. The end goal is not "These people NEED to believe my ideology" but "these people need to be healthy and enjoy life and feel that there is a place for them within the national framework to give a shit about the country". If you have the latter they come to the former regardless The Republican party, as an institution, has no significance to me and is full of assholes who have completely lost the plot on what life, a thing that goes beyond internecine national political spats, is supposed to be about whereas Dems have shown evidence of "lessons learned" from the electoral annihilation of the previous formulation of their platform while removing the more toxic elements of "woke" or whatever you want to call it and replaced those poisons with things I consider to be more healthy to the body politic as a whole |
