it's a 156 outcome (at least if that's where you land. i was in that office years ago and jumped to biglaw), but aren't you an obese shitlawyer in texas who makes like 250k as a partner? let's not get delusional here.

joy lovers-brunch was cute like 10 years ago.
laura pierson-scheinberg used to be my boss and she would always refer to herself as "a cute chick" (ie, "these union reps don't know how to deal with me because i'm cute") and i'd always lol a little bit inside. she's 5'2" and must weigh about 155 now.

GULC grads are a weird case in the DMV (this extends to bmore but you don't see them that often up there). because they allow classes of like 1500 people, the market - particularly in DC - is absolutely saturated with them. if you graduate at or below median, there's a good shot you'll be in legit shitlaw. i worked at an ID firm right after graduation where i got paid $25 per billed hour as a contractor. i worked with a brand new GULC grad. i was amazed, but since then i've noticed you tend to see these guys in shitlaw and on the doc review circuit (to the extent that still exists)

do these shitlaw GULC grads have a chance to escape shitlaw based on their credential? or have they permanently fucked themselvles over during ONE SHOT OCI

yes they can. for comparison, i went to the university of maryland and i was able to claw out of shitlaw and wound up in biglaw. GULC grads are in a better position of course. but they have to be smart, work hard and not be totally autistic.
nah. i volunteered regularly in an inner-city school with my bleeding heart lib mom, doing arts and crafts and reading books to the kids, and it was 180. i also went to concerts in the city and did a scientific research internship at Hopkins my senior year of high school. my memories of Baltimore are all positive.
yeah, i now know that they are. the elementary school in question doesn't even exist anymore. one experience i had gave me the tiniest bit of respect for 80-IQ shitlib Martin O'Malley though: my mom told him at an event that the water fountains weren't working at this elementary school, and he personally got that fixed within a month. still stupid and corrupt and embedded into the establishment of an evil party (both major parties are evil) but at least he got that one thing done.

did i tell you i knew ziggy from the wire? he was also in the IT movies that came out in 2017-2019. he killedself. i knew him from the hardcore scene and had his number at one point. he was a fan of the band boy sets fire. RIP JP Ransone.

yea he was a really nice guy. met him in 1998. he and i and the singer of that band charles bronson talked for hours about late 80s youth crew hc (youth of today, gb, etc). he told me then that he was trying to do acting and i was like lmao good luck bro. turns out he maed it.
damn. wonder if there was more to his death. it being ruled a suicide doesn't say much, especially when Hollywood is involved. any idea if he was involved in any anti-child-sex-trafficking projects?

fun fact: one of the cast members of love is blind season 6 (marissa) was a summer associate in this office. she was there when i had that brief stint back at the firm. they hired her on after she graduated, after i was gone, but she apparently was making influencer tiktok videos and refused to stop, and her work product was garbage bc she's a literal dummy and they fired her
