What's wild is that Tucker actually ended up more based and redpilled after he went out on his own without "Charles" writing his words for him
Now Tucker is out there calling for an End To World Jewry while Blake Neff is making goofy Twitter posts apologizing for the most egregious Jewish kikery
It's just insane to get cancelled for "vile racism" and then leverage that into becoming the most vanilla slopulist commentator alive. I hope he makes good money!

I really feel like this is a very underrated part about all this
Everyone, including us here at autoadmit dot com, used to make fun of Tucker for being a "cuck" and a "fraud" who was only ever successful because of his writers like Charles
Turns out that was just objectively false. And a lot of people have never updated their priors to reflect it
Blake and Fox News kept him on the reservation, but it's pretty obvious that everything that is interesting or charismatic about Tucker is authentically Tucker
Nothing makes this clearer than Blake's pathetic post-Fox News career

i dont think we're too rough on charles, he absolutely knows exactly what he's doing, he's smart enough to know better and his constant leveraging his personal relationship to position himself as the "charlie kirk whisperer" to improve his public profile is extremely cringe

This is overstated and while I think we gave Charles way more credit than he deserved (sometimes/somewhat as tongue in cheek XO aggrandizement) Tucker did way more important work at Fox shifting the discourse on immigration and forcing the issue of tech censorship both by directly covering it and by drawing a stark free speech contrast, which ended up being crucial during the Biden years v anything Tucker has done since. The dumbest stuff that Tucker did on Fox was his gleeful Potemkin village tours in Hungary, which happened after the Charles outing, and that’s been way more of his schtick since he left Fox. Obviously Tucker is the bulk of the talent involved in all of his projects, but Charles definitely seemed to help bring out his best, and he definitely made Charlie better, too. He’s meant to be a toady for an actual talented person, not a broadcast personality in his own right.
