One area of Personal Injury Law that Israel had a case or two on but seems facially unthinkable, seems credited to me:
WRONGFUL BIRTH
A parent who knows there will be millions of dollars of lifetime cost to a downs kid (or whatever) should be subject to liability of that cost if they refuse an abortion with foreknowledge of the disability.

It seems completely wrong that a child should sue parents for being born and it is hard to get past this.
The society would bring the suit as the ward of this "adult" in these cases (when the bills start to pile up). The foreknowledge would be a necessary element.

That seemed to be assumed from your quote. Of course the burden kid shouldn’t receive any additional windfalls. His unjustified existence continuing for all this time is more than enough.
The government should step in and collect the money from the selfish parents, since it’s the government (tax payers) that is bearing the cost.
