Date: July 14th, 2021 1:59 PM Author: Greedy Pistol Unfortuntely, dude, that's not how life works. There are different people on the bort at different times and just because someone one time links to something that's personal to them doesn't mean they're "self outting." Like I said, I learned who CSLG was because of Kamala's spaz out. Unless someone eplicitly just says "I'm self outting, my irl is fair game for the bort" then they're not "self outted." CSLG clearly wasn't self-outting -- he would quickly delete links to things like his profile after sharing them for one poaster or another.
To be clear, I think CSLG is an annoying fag and hope his buttboy mod pals kenny and chandler both lose their mod powers because they abuse them, but that doesn't mean he should be outted whenever Kamala goes on a bender. |

Is that about right? (https://xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=4877873&forum_id=2#42782552) |

If a poster has self-outed the presumption is that they don't care about being outed. so they should affirmatively tell people not to repost.
Under your logic CSLG could state his name and business and send out T-shirts in a thread but then if KamalaSexy replies with his name she should have to ask first? |
|

that's not with his argument is. it's clearly that poasters who "out" poasters who regularly self out and don't give a fuck about their irl being known should not be banned.
what if i bump threads where cslg poasts vids of himself or his firm name. should that be bannable? it has the exact same effect. |

Date: July 14th, 2021 4:26 PM Author: Accurate at predicting vs Measures of probability (gunneratttt) idk, this seems like technical quibbling. my dude poasted plenty of vids and pictures of himself, which is way worse than poasting his name. i could poast any lawyers name and claim to be them, which he could claim if the cslg account was ever linked to him and it just had his name. but pictures hanging out with NYUUG or doing plenty of other xoxo related things is incontrovertible evidence that the account belongs to him. and those threads get bumped sometimes and all the pics and vids are still there. but let's not pretend that cslg is known to "a dozen full time poasters". when i mostly lurked i emailed him to get a link to his shitlaw course and a t-shirt. i'm a big cslg fan. all i'm saying is that someone that openly notorious should not be banned for having their name mentioned when they are ok with it. |

Also people who spend time here know like 15 people’s irl, that doesn’t mean any retard who stumbles in here from Twitter needs to know. And it’s also about not spamming the front page and making mods delete posts for hours |
|
Date: July 14th, 2021 4:21 PM Author: razzle-dazzle naked legend dysfunction "that doesn’t mean any retard who stumbles in here from Twitter needs to know."
The posters in subthread above don't seem to get that. You'd think it'd be an easier concept to grasp in the post-C12 era.
|
|
Date: July 14th, 2021 4:28 PM Author: Accurate at predicting vs Measures of probability (gunneratttt) i grasp that. but there has to be some personal accountability and leniency when someone is as notorious as cslg.
i know several poasters whos irl is known, but i don't know it because i'm not hip enough on here. those people should be protected from being outted. otoh, cslg poasts outting stuff all the time and *does not care*. there is a big difference between these types of poasters. |

Date: July 14th, 2021 1:54 PM Author: razzle-dazzle naked legend dysfunction Lol at the shithead pumos in rach's thread that simultaneously: 1) complained about TT's name and others being posted, AND 2) defended this poster who constantly posts CSLG's and other poster's names
And they claimed CSLG should be banned for spamming, but **not** TT/obeezy/nyuug (their spam is special?)
They're also upset b/c borderline defamatory posts about outed posters like CSLG were supposedly deleted, in the wake of the C12 doxing/cancellation, as if there aren't potential IRL consequences for that kind of shit.
Hope rach sees right through this insidious bullshit. |
|
Date: July 14th, 2021 1:57 PM Author: Greedy Pistol You need to chill. I do agree that there is some bullshit behavior going on in there. There are a few voices like that in the sticky who are obviously trying to push vendettas or agendas but most people are being principled and taking an above-board approach. Kamala clearly should have been banned for persistent outting of CSLG and he has been.
Also, if this is, as I suspect, CSLG's butt boy kenny, you suck at moderating and clearly aren't following the rules anymore. There have been plenty of threads that have been critical of CSLG in the same way many other poasters have gotten shit here over the years but somehow the CSLG ones get mysteriously garbaged. That's not how moderation is supposed to work. |
|
Date: July 14th, 2021 2:07 PM Author: razzle-dazzle naked legend dysfunction Why do I need to chill? I'm just speaking up for the other side on this issue vs an insidious lot of biased pumos that you concede were trying to manipulate Rachmiel. I would hate for Rach's impeccable judgment to be colored by one slanted viewpoint, as I'm sure you agree. Also I am not who you think I am but I can assure you that the poster you mentioned is not a shitmod and has never deleted any CSLG threads or political threads. The accusations don't even make sense considering he was never a shitmod, never deleted any damaging posts/threads about himself (many with outable info), and has not argued with pumos in any political threads for like 2-3 years. lol @ people drawing an imaginary line at "self-outting" and drawing a moral equivalency.
