What's crazy is that this phenomenon is true of every Jenji Kohan show. I guess they get a few seasons in and go this is unbelievable I can't believe they're still paying us.

I have a funny story about Little People, Big World
In HS a friend got arrested cause another friend he was with stole from a store, his mom (producer of tv & film) got him a lawyer. When she told the lawyer what she did for work he said he had a client that was a midget that had a farm property where he built all these buildings and said he wanted to make a tv show out of it. His mom thought it sounded retarded and just humored him. It went on to be a hit show for like 20 years that she loved to watch
That lawyer was the guy who repped him during his DUI trial on the show

they managed the longevity because no one ever got mega rich from the show so they needed to keep showing up every season. it's like NFL RBs on their rookie contract but in perpetuity. now it's sad looking RW ppl in their mid-40s and weirdo foreigners and other faggots from ttt reality shows no one watches.
wife still watches it. seems like no one drinks or fucks or gets in fights any more. all they do is just work out and scheme around their gay 'alliances'

those random Nordic or Northern Euro murder mystery shows that pop up on Netflix. I always watch them but never tell anyone because they are all predictable, overwrought and performatively dour, but I enjoy basking in the atmosphere of white people with sterling phenotypes moping around in frozen wastelands and bleak architecture.
