This is the absolute death knell for Nintendo. More than any other company, Nintendo is dependent on exclusives, selling you the same game multiple times or getting you to pay $20 - $40 for Switch 2 "upgrades" to play a game you already own in 4K, etc. Well that's all out the window now. Switch games are hitting PC at a rapid pace, and it's only a matter of time until these nerds completely crack the Switch 2's similar architecture. All of these games that have looked like ass on inferior Nintendo hardware for generations are about to get completely unleashed and Nintendo won't see a penny from it. |
